Tips for Distress to Fertility

Distress, it helps boost fertility

Research suggests that 30% of all infertility issues could be caused by high stress levels. If you are indeed planning to have a baby, and have been trying for a while, maybe your stress levels are way too high and you need to do something about it. Here are a few simple ways in which you can destress and boost your fertility.

The connection may not be direct, but it affects various physiological conditions that can play havoc with your chances of getting pregnant.

Like music?
Let that music play in the background. Make a playlist with your favorite songs. Put it on while you do your chores, exercise, or when you feel that your stress levels are rising higher than they should. Be sure that you will feel much better when you hear your favorite tunes wafting into your ear.
Studies show that listening to music helps regulate heart rate, it decreases the levels of hormones responsible for stress and also helps lower blood pressure.

Exercise Regularly
Exercise not only keeps you in perfect shape but also helps release hormones called endorphins that are responsible to make your body feel relaxed.
Get at least 30 minutes of exercise as many times a week as possible and it will help keep stress at bay.

Connect with those you love
A good support system can indeed help you deal with issues that bring you stress. Speaking with close friends, going out, grabbing a nice meal, dancing with them, watching a film can help you sometimes forget about your problems and feel stress-free.

Meditate

Close your eyes and take a deep breath, forget about everything around you and focus on your breath and nothing else. Letting go can indeed help you gain perspective and feel better. Just 10 minutes in a day, every day can do wonders for a better life.

Find something to do you enjoy
Pick up a hobby. Like gardening, like to try out new recipes, maybe some art and craft can help you forget about your worries and enjoy the moment. 

Take a break
Feeling overwhelmed? Need a change of scenery? Take a holiday, it can help you feel absolutely refreshed and work on your stress levels, make you feel more positive and happy as well.

Are you a cat or dog person?
A pet can help a great deal in making you feel good. Forget about your troubles and feel relaxed. Whatever you fancy is great, a dog or a cat, even a bird can help you calm your nerves.
A few simple changes can help you feel better. So take a few moments out of your otherwise hectic life, slow down and understand yourself and what you need to feel better.
