Dr Srisailesh Vitthala is a fertility professional who has been working towards the dream of offering world-class, infertility services with the help of state-of-the-art fertility centers. Dr. Vitthala specializes in reproductive medicine and fertility-enhancing surgeries (hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and open procedures), backed by over a decade of experience in India and the UK. For almost 3.5 years, Dr. Vitthala has been an Honorary Associate at the University of Aberdeen in the UK., while practicing as a consultant at the Aberdeen Fertility Centre & Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Aberdeen, UK.
Dr Vitthala’s primary interests are Ovulation Induction (OI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), IVF/ ICSI, and embryo transfers. His other interests include one-stop fertility clinics, stimulation for low/poor responders, fertility imaging (pelvic ultrasound/ tubal patency scans), prediction of ovarian reserve, premature ovarian failure, fertility preservation (cancer patients), endometriosis, fibroids, andrology (male infertility), menstrual disorders, menopause, fertility-enhancing surgeries, and general gynaecological surgeries.
Dr. Vitthala has made significant contributions to the field of fertility, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has also authored evidence-based assisted reproductive technology (ART) manuals, standard operative procedures (SOPs), and protocols suitable for local assisted conception units (ACUs). Dr. Vitthala is a British Fertility Society’s accredited trainer in infertility and pelvic ultrasound and fertility training modules, he is a lead clinician in the quality assurance of ACU. Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Vitthala has been actively involved in educating and training medical students, junior doctors, and nurses.
